How to get there?
The building occupies a calm street in the 2nd arrondissement, right next to the Grands Boulevards. Bonne Nouvelle metro on lines 8 and 9 is a short walk away, Reaumur Sebastopol links lines 3 and 4, and the Strasbourg Saint-Denis interchange adds three more lines, while Gare de l'Est covers regional and national travel. Opera station and the Opera 4 Septembre bus stops sit around a kilometre west, and several public car parks are within roughly 450 metres for anyone driving. The area was known in the 19th century as the heart of la vie parisienne and still carries that energy: coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques fill the surrounding streets, the Theatre des Varietes is part of the historic Grands Boulevards theatre scene, and the Musee Grevin wax museum is nearby.
