Enclave Bethesda

Enclave Bethesda is on Auburn Avenue in the Woodmont Triangle, a few minutes north of Bethesda Metro. It is an open loft-style floor — exposed steel trusses, ductwork and brick — with nine private offices around a lounge, a coffee bar, a long communal table, standing desks and phone rooms. Offices are private and lockable with 24/7 access via the Enclave access app, and are let unfurnished so members can fit them out to suit the way they work. Wi-Fi, utilities and cleaning are included in the monthly rate, along with two hours of conference-room time each week.

Private offices in the Woodmont Triangle, Bethesda

Enclave Bethesda is on Auburn Avenue in the Woodmont Triangle, the pocket of independent restaurants, cafés and small shops just north of downtown Bethesda's larger developments. The floor is loft-like and left deliberately raw — exposed steel trusses, ductwork and brick — with nine private offices arranged around a lounge, a coffee bar, a long communal table, standing desks against the brick and phone rooms.

The offices here are let unfurnished. In Enclave's own words, they "leave them unfurnished so you can set the space up however you want" — so plan for desks and chairs, or ask the team, who can sometimes help with furniture. Almost everything else is in the rate: Wi-Fi, utilities, cleaning, 24/7 access through the Enclave app and two hours of conference-room time each week.

One office is available now, at $1,100 a month on a one-year agreement — an internal room of about 100 sq ft, roughly 9 m². A second, the same size but with a window, is due to come free in September 2026. With Bethesda Metro about half a mile south, this is the most transit-connected building in Enclave's DMV estate.

Frequently asked questions about Enclave Bethesda

Enclave Bethesda is at 4933 Auburn Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814, in the Woodmont Triangle. Bethesda Metro station on the Red Line is about half a mile south, and Bethesda Row is a little beyond it.

Usually not. Enclave leaves its offices unfurnished "so you can set the space up however you want and make it your own". They can sometimes help with furniture if you need it — worth asking before you sign. This is unusual for a flexible workspace, so budget for desks and chairs.

Your office is private and lockable, with 24/7 access. Wi-Fi, utilities, cleaning, phone rooms, conference rooms, coffee, tea, snacks and the shared workspace are all included.

One office is available now at $1,100 a month on a one-year agreement — an internal room of about 100 sq ft (roughly 9 m²). A second office of the same size, this one with a window, is due to come free in September 2026 at $1,300 a month. Two-year agreements are around 10% cheaper. Enclave is currently advertising 50% off the first year on a 24-month commitment, and a first month free on a 12-month commitment — check the current terms with them directly, as promotions change.

There is no strict limit. Most offices are comfortable for around two to three people, depending on the size of the office.

Yes. Private-office members get two hours of conference-room time each week. Phone rooms are first come, first served and cannot be reserved.

Enclave normally offers one-year and two-year agreements. Month-to-month may be available at some locations, but it is usually more expensive.

Yes. The security deposit is 50% of the office's base monthly rate, calculated before any discounts or promotions.

Yes. Private-office members can use Enclave as their official business address and receive mail there. All members can receive mail, but using Enclave as a registered business address requires a private office.

Once you have chosen an office, Enclave sends the agreement through DocuSign, followed by the invoice and keys. They can sometimes get everything ready the same day, although most members move in within about a week.

How to get there?

Enclave Bethesda sits in the Woodmont Triangle, the older, smaller-grained corner of downtown Bethesda where independent restaurants, cafés, hair salons and shops line most streets — locals tend to prefer it to the busier Bethesda Row a little further south precisely because it stays quieter. Woodmont Grill, Casa Oaxaca, Mayflower and a Trader Joe's are all within the Triangle's few blocks. Bethesda Metro station on the Red Line is roughly half a mile south, which makes this the easiest of Enclave's DMV buildings to reach without a car, and the Capital Crescent Trail — the rail-trail running from Georgetown out to Silver Spring — passes just beyond Bethesda Row.
