Mainyard Studios Enfield is a small, black brick studio building at 58B Alexandra Road, in the Durants Park area of Enfield. It is made for makers and creative businesses ready to move out of the garage, the spare room or a cramped corner of someone else's studio.
The building has seven studios in total. They are blank, enclosed and lockable spaces that you shape to your own work, and the larger studios add a private mezzanine: make and build on the ground floor, then keep a clean desk or a quiet corner upstairs. Residents already use them for fashion, painting, beauty treatments and small production.
Between the studios there is a communal kitchen and lounge corner, wifi is included and there is on-site parking. Mainyard is an independent, family run business founded in 2012, and Enfield residents are part of a wider community of creative entrepreneurs across its London buildings.
