Stella33 splits its centres roughly half and half: about 50 per cent of the floor area is private offices and about 50 per cent is shared space. That follows activity based working, the idea that people work better when they can move through the day to whichever setting suits the task. Shared areas include lounges and coworking space, phone booths and micro rooms for calls or focused work, and quiet zones.
How to get there?
Stella Santa Giulia sits in the Milano Santa Giulia district in the south east of the city, a large regeneration area that has drawn a number of Italian and international companies. Rogoredo station is about 250 metres away and serves both the railway and the metro, with high speed services to Bologna, Rome and Naples, so the building is as easy to reach from other cities as from within Milan. There is direct access to the ring road and the main road network, and Milano Linate airport is roughly ten minutes by car. The building looks onto Piazza Tina Modotti, a square with restaurants, green space and a regular programme of events.
