Utopicus Glòries lies right at the heart of Barcelona's 22@ innovation district, in the Sant Marti district between Poblenou and Gracia. It occupies a single floor of a new Colonial owned building that carries LEED Platinum certification together with BREEAM Part 1 Excellent and BREEAM Part 2 Excellent ratings. The 1,800 sqm space was designed by the Turull Sorensen studio with the city itself in mind, a city where the mountains meet the sea: the side facing the Mediterranean is finished in fresh marine colours, while the wing looking out towards the Serra de Collserola takes its palette from warm timber and dense planting. The design follows Utopicus's wider aim of giving technology a more human dimension and breaking away from the cliche that it is cold and grey.
Across that floor there are 27 private offices with room for up to 245 workstations, 4 meeting rooms and 3 phone booths, alongside a Working Pass coworking area of 20 seats. Private offices start at 375 EUR per person per month excluding VAT, and the Working Pass is offered from 259 EUR per person per month excluding VAT. Private office members have 24/7 private access Monday to Sunday, and the Utopicus Passport gives access to Utopicus spaces across Madrid and Barcelona. The building also provides showers, bicycle parking and car parking.
