Expansive Magnificent Mile occupies the fourth floor of 605 N Michigan Avenue, a classical limestone building on the corner of North Michigan Avenue and East Ohio Street in Chicago. The workspace has floor to ceiling windows with sweeping views of the city skyline and offers a range of options, from team suites and private offices to dedicated desks, coworking memberships, access passes and day offices. Members share the Expansive Lounge, which combines soft seating, work tables, filtered water and limitless coffee, tea and espresso with a community kitchen. Expansive West Loop is the largest flexible workspace in Chicago and the Midwest, filling 19 floors of the former Fashion Trades Building, which opened in 1930 at 318 West Adams Street. The building stands between Wacker Drive and Franklin Street, directly across from Willis Tower, and Expansive owns and operates the whole of it. Inside there are more than 30 team suites alongside fully furnished private offices, dedicated desks and coworking memberships, seven conference rooms, a training room set up for in person, hybrid or remote sessions, and 11 soundproof phone booths, each with a built in desk. Two lounge areas give members somewhere to work informally or meet without booking a room, and the Expansive Lounge on the 17th floor is where guests are met. A working mothers room provides a comfortable private space with soft seating, a dedicated refrigerator, a locking door and electrical outlets. The building is the work component of The Opus Chicago, a live, work and play property that also houses a luxury apartment complex, and Expansive owns and operates the building it runs the workspace in. The Expansive Lounge and the onsite team are on the first floor, with offices on the floors above. Workspace options include fully furnished private offices, multi room team suites that scale with a growing team, dedicated desks inside a shared private office, and guaranteed space in the shared coworking lounge with a variety of seating. Collaboration space covers two meeting rooms fitted with smart TV monitors and remote controls, a Huddle Room sized for smaller groups, private day offices for one to four people, conference rooms of varying sizes, and an events venue for larger gatherings.
